Defending Drug-Induced Homicide Cases
The Health in Justice Action Lab at Northeastern University is pleased to announce the 2021 edition of the Drug-Induced Homicide Defense Toolkit. The Toolkit is a free informational guide for defense counsel representing individuals charged with drug-induced homicide, drug delivery resulting in death, or similar crimes resulting from overdoses.

The Toolkit provides readers with:

Potential defenses
Case law and secondary sources
Possible sentence mitigation strategies
Constitutional, statutory, and public policy issues to raise
Advocacy strategies
