This info & question/answer session will led by Professors Silvio Amir and Megan Hofmann. This info session is open to all students interested in pursuing a Computer Science PhD in the Khoury College of Computer Science at Northeastern University.
This session will provide an overview of the admissions process and provide useful tips on preparing application materials. We will also be discussing Khoury's efforts to support applicants from Underrepresented Groups in Computing, broadly defined. This is an opportunity for interested applicants to share their concerns about the application process and get connected to resources and support.
Attendees will also learn about opportunities in Khoury and Northeastern specifically for members of underrepresented groups including: fellowships, research related to diversity and inclusion, and mentorship from faculty and students in underrepresented groups. All are welcome!
Attendees of the info session will also be provided a special application code that will waive the application fees for the program.
Advanced registration is required. Please feel free to share any questions that you have now in the registration form; you will also have the opportunity to ask questions live during the info session.
